Product Description
A Dredging Pump is an ultra-heavy-duty centrifugal pump specifically engineered to excavate and transport highly abrasive mixtures of water, sand, gravel, clay, and rock chunks. Serving as the beating heart of any dredging operation, it provides the massive hydraulic suction and discharge pressure required to move dense solid-liquid slurries over vast pipeline distances.
· Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD): Mounted inside the ship's hull or directly on the cutter ladder (submerged) to pump excavated material directly from the riverbed or seabed to shore.
· Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD): Installed on large ocean-going vessels to vacuum up sand from the seabed into the ship's hopper or discharge it over the bow for land reclamation.
· Sand Mining & Aggregate Washing: Deployed in commercial sand fields to extract raw concrete sand and construction gravel from underwater borrow pits.
· Mining Tailings Management: Used to clear out dense mineral concentrates, tailing pond sediments, and thick industrial slag from mining treatment facilities.
